CHINA-MEKONG LAW CENTER SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH YUNNAN UNIVERSITY LAW SCHOOL
On July 5, 2013, China-Mekong Law Center signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Yunnan University Law School (YNU Law). YNU Law is China’s number one law school in southwest China, ranked approximately 25th at the national level. Pursuant to the MOU, YNU Law will serve as the base for implementation of CMLC’s key projects, namely 1) The Lancang-Mekong Regional College of Law Project; 2) The Juris Doctor Initiative; 3) The Law Clinic for Microcredit, Microinsurance and Microsurety and 4) The Mekong Region Public Procurement Law Initiative.
